Zeinab Samir

Zeinab is specialized in corporate, labor, commercial and intellectual property matters.

Prior to joining MFDP, Zeinab spent seven years at Al Kamel Law office where she worked on numerous local and cross border transactions and provided legal advice to local and multinational companies and institutions in a wide range of industries. She also led a negotiation with a reputable UK production company in relation to licensing certain works for the late Naguib Mahfouz.

Zeinab then acted as in-house counsel to City Edge Development, the national developer of Egypt, where she was responsible for advising on daily legal issues, business transactions, drafting agreements and advising on labor law matters. During her time at City Edge, Zeinab was a pioneer in leading the deal in relation to the mega-touristic project ‘Mamsha Ahl Masr.’

Zeinab also contributed in preparing a comparative guide regarding franchise and license laws which was published in Legal 500 in 2019.
